Fiorella Bonino is a China–LATAM strategist, founder and CEO of The Chinaexpert. She is former PwC, an industrial engineer from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and an MBA graduate from UIBE Beijing on a full MOFCOM scholarship. In 2020, she raised Chinese capital after four years of cultivating guānxì, founding a bilateral Chile–China operation. She was invited by AIBO–MOFCOM, won the SIAL Shanghai Innovation Award 2023, and was documented by UN ESCAP in 2024 as a Chile–China cross-border case study.

She has been invited twice by AIBO–MOFCOM (Academy for International Business Officials of China's Ministry of Commerce): in 2017 for the seminar on the One Belt One Road initiative, and in 2025 for the seminar on digitalization and international development of Chilean SMEs, where she served as Chile's official representative. In 2023 she won the SIAL Shanghai Innovation Award (Selection Innovation) with a Chilean product she submitted herself.
She is the founder of The Chinaexpert (CHINAEXPERT SpA), a strategic intelligence consultancy on China for LATAM, and leads The Chinaexpert News, her editorial line on Chinese news that impacts LATAM. Her trajectory combines official Chinese academic formation, real commercial execution with Chinese capital and institutional recognition documented by multilateral organizations.
Education. Industrial engineer from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Santiago) and postgraduate certificate in Business Intelligence focused on IT from Universidad de Chile. In 2018 she earned her MBA at the University of International Business and Economics — UIBE Beijing (对外经济贸易大学) on a full scholarship from China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM). Prior professional experience. Her career began at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), one of the global Big Four consultancies and audit firms — the foundation of the analytical and financial rigor she now applies to her work on China. During her MBA in Beijing she worked inside Baidu (百度), gaining direct exposure to the Chinese digital ecosystem and to the platform logic of mainland China.
China–Chile operation. In 2019 she founded The Chinaexpert (CHINAEXPERT SpA) and opened her own store on JD Worldwide (Global Purchase) under the Los Andes Beltroad brand. That same year she received the CORFO Chile Seed Fund. After four years of cultivating guānxì, in 2020 she raised Chinese capital to found Los Andes Beltroad Export, a bilateral operation centered on air-shipped fresh-fruit exports to the Chinese market. Under her own brand Dancing Sun, she exported Royal Dawn, Santina and Lapins cherry varieties via cherry express air freight, aligned with the demand peak of the Chinese New Year. In 2023 she set up her own stand at SIAL Shanghai and won the SIAL Shanghai Innovation Award 2023 (Selection Innovation) with Chilean grapes in pouch from her client Synergic Food, which she submitted and positioned.
Institutional recognition. She has been invited twice by AIBO–MOFCOM (Academy for International Business Officials of China's Ministry of Commerce): in 2017 for the seminar on the One Belt One Road initiative (OBOR), and in 2025 for the seminar on digitalization and international development of Chilean SMEs, where she served as Chile's official representative. In 2024, her operation was documented by UN ESCAP in their official Knowledge Product on cross-border e-commerce Chile–China, written by a UIBE professor.
Conferences and commercial diplomacy. In 2019 she organized in Santiago the conference Belt and Road Chile–China, with the presence of former president Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, former ministers and ambassadors.
